Did you ever come up with a new and creative idea and wonder if it was patentable?  Eric Rosenthal (ITP’s Scientist in Residence) will be giving a talk on helping students better understand the US patent process. Eric will be explaining the process for crafting, preparing and filing a provisional patent application.  In many cases you may be able to prepare and file an application yourself without a patent attorney.  He will also explain the fee structure for filing provisional patent applications and patent applications.  Bring your questions about the patent process to this interactive session.
