HMNYC Project
From ITP student, Emily Ryan
I won a contest to design and install a window for the H&M store on 42nd Street and 5th Avenue. Through the support of the ITP student, staff and alumni community I was able to make this happen. I would have never been able to pull it off were it not for being part of this amazing community of people and I want to express my gratitude to each and every one of you. Just a small example of this was on the 2nd night of the installation when we had over 50 ITP alumni and current students come and participate, many staying there all night to ensure the project was finished. It was incredible to receive such support and I’ve never felt so blessed. The project has been up for 2 1/2 months in Times Square and will be coming down at the end of the week. I hope if you haven’t had a chance to participate that you will stop by and be a part of the HMNYC Project.
I want to give a Big Thank You to the following twelve people who were part of my main team, ALL ITP of course
Mike Kelberman, Luis Violante, Liangjie Xia, Derek Chung, Daniel Tsadok, Winslow Porter, Matt Richard, Adam Lassy, Li Li, Genevieve Hoffman, Drew Burrows & Yimeng Bai
And Thank you too to all the other members of the community who volunteered their time or gave their advice and help during this process, I really appreciate it.
