ITP Alum starts Snapguide

Started by ITP Alum, Daniel Raffel!
From baking and crafts to repairs and fashion – Snapguide allows you to share your passions and expertise.
What is Snapguide?
Snapguide is a free iOS app and web service for those that want to create and share step-by-step “how to guides.” The service provides easy to understand instructions for a wide array of topics including cooking, gardening, crafts, repairs, do-it-yourself projects, fashion tips, entertaining and more.
Users are invited to create their own guides using the iPhone app. Snap pictures and videos of your project, add captions, and share your guide with the Snapguide community.
Our Story
We started Snapguide because we knew there had to be a simpler way to create, share and consume instructional knowledge.
Our journey began when one of our co-founders was learning how to bake bread and wanted to share his process with his friends. He was surprised to discover how complicated it was to publish a step-by-step guide that contained photos and videos captured on his mobile phone.
We set out to create a service that made it easy to learn together and be inspired by one another. Our aim is to empower people with simple tools to share their accomplishments online. When you publish a guide on Snapguide it looks great on mobile, tablet and desktop screens. Give it a try, we’d love to see what you’ve got to share!
