ITP Professor and alumnus Tom Igoe (’97) published his new book, “Making Things Talk: Practical Methods for Connecting Physical Objects”, September, 2007, Make Books.

Brian Jepson and Tom Igoe will be giving a workshop on Making Things Talk at O’Reilly’s Emerging Technology conference in the first week of March, 2008. They will be teaching participants to make a physical game controller for a networked game of pong. The controller is a variation on some of the projects in the book, and should enable a very special activity that’s not always seen at E-Tech…
