ITP well represented at RESNA
ITP was well represented at RESNA’s (the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America) annual conference in June, 2009 in New Orleans. Amanda Bersohn (ITP) with Shalini D’Souza (OT) and So Yeon Ahn (OT) were finalists in the student design competition with their Reverse Gravity Leg Bag Emptier. This was a project that came out of the Developing Assistive Technology class. In addition, Rusk Occupational Therapist, Holly Cohen, had a poster presentation accepted on the collaborative process between ITP / OT / RUSK using a case study of a project that was developed in John Schimmel’s Design for One class at ITP (which coincidentally was another project that Amanda worked on).
