Spies & Assassins is a creative technology shop. We make stuff. Useful and interesting technology stuff for web, mobile, social, and in-store.  We build apps, platforms, APIs and, sometimes, even physical products — for brands, for agencies, for consumers and for ourselves.  We’re into the cloud, location-based services, spreadablity, co-creation, 3D-projection, mash-ups, RFID, 3D-printing, data visualization, microbroadcasting, robots, beautiful design, intuitive interfaces and the gameification of life.

Andy Styer (ITP alum) Associate Director of Product Development
Andy is the Associate Director of Product Development at kbs+ | Spies & Assassins, where he helps to guide products from ideation to installation.
Prior to joining Spies & Assassins, Andy led the digital creative team at branded content agency Group SJR, where he developed and managed projects for clients like GE, Target, Barneys, Credit Suisse, and The Home Depot. Before that, he created the UNICEF Emergency Response Simulation, an award-winning live-action simulation exercise built with the UNICEF Innovations Team and frog design to educate players about UNICEF’s role in disaster situations. He began his career in IT support and has worked across fields from computer forensics to event design and museum installation.
Andy is a graduate of the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University, where he designed and built immersive games and full-body game controllers. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College, where he studied Historiography and Studio Art. When not working, he spends entirely too much time fixing and riding bicycles.
