25,000 Toys: Design, Invention, and the Way People Play
Ben Dermer, head of product innovations at Spin Master Ltd will give a talk on the subject of design and invention in the context of mass market product development.
As head of Product Innovations at Spin Master Ltd, one of the world’s biggest toy companies, Benjamin Dermer is in charge of finding and developing new ideas. In a given year, Ben sees over 3000 new concepts leading the process of trying to figure out what’s new, cool and innovative in the world of toys. Working closely with inventors and designers around the world, he has helped bring to market hundreds of items, including Bakugan, Air Hogs, Moon Dough, DQ Blizzard Maker, Zoobles, and Tech Deck.
