I want to invite you to come to the opening of my show at biforms Saturday January 23rd 6:30-8:30

The show is called “X by Y ” and has three new pieces in it. The theme and title of the show refer to my exploration and celebration of the X by Y grid, the foundation of digital imagery. All 3 pieces are mechanical mirrors like I always make, but all three pieces also have a secondary animation behavior that they periodically demonstrate. I am very excited about this new direction in my work, and I am especially excited about the piece “X by Y” (in the photo) which takes one further step into the abstraction of images.

I would love to see you at the opening, but if you can only visit the gallery once, then maybe come in a later day, crowded openings are not the perfect setting for viewing interactive pieces, but they are a fun time to get together.
