More on Tensegrity
I struggled to understand the Buckminster Fuller texts, but found that through drawing the bicycle wheel several times and thinking about the forces on it I was able to get a sense of what he was describing.
I found Kenneth Nelson's (acquaintance perhaps even a friend? of Fuller) website helpful in further understanding how tensegrity functions
