Sandra

I am a third year student at ITP. I am a is a graphic designer, computer artists and educator. I started my career as a graphic designer in 1992. I worked in print media designing promotional materials for cultural institutions. In 1998 I got involved in web design and advertising. I moved to New York in 2000. In 2004 I received a MFA in Computer Graphics and Interactive Media from Pratt Institute. My interests are non-traditional human computer interfaces, intelligent environments, installations, immersive displays, augmented projections and education. Last year I partnered a multimedia artist to open an industrial design studio. We design small interactive objects that involve light. My interest in this class is related to the proper use of materials.
