Sept 28

Notes from our first informal meeting.

Things we did:
discussed what to do with the empty coffee cups. Andrew has started to think of putting the cups \\into blocks, potentially spherical.

Discussing the coffee maker issue. NOTE Meghan is "the coffee maker czar" Karl is "coffee slave"

  • WHAT IS THE DEMAND FOR THIS????????
  • Maybe we seed this with making a few pots everyday and seeing the response.
  • Other questions that may come up later:
  • Who will head it? Who will be responsible? Who will clean it?...
  • How much does one cost/how many cups does it make?
  • Who will make the coffee? Do it when it is empty?
  • Estimate weekly material costs. Who supplies it, us, a coffee distributer?
  • Who will clean it? Self-Policing, Sign up, rigid.
  • Do we also supply paper cups, but require a 25 cent donation if you take one?
  • This coffee maker sits on what? Where are the supplies kept?

Creating a 'sustainable' publication? could it be linked into a general ITP booklet?

Junk-utilization design challenge Driveby. To be planned at next informal meeting. Driveby would be October 19. (We have to talk to Josh Knowles about a date).
