Keywords: interactive video

similar to a microscope or telescope, as you get closer to the screen, you learn more as different scenes emerge
to show that abstract communication in the context of video art can be incorporated in a layered interactive experience

Personal Statement:i am interested in creating visual symbols and communicating emotions.
Context:abstract communication, video art, interactive installations
Audience:everyone
User Scenario:as a person moves towards the screen different scenes of a video will emerge
Methodology:a powermac, running jitter, is connected to an isight camera or mini dv camera from the ceiling, and the flatscreen is also connected to the powermac. the camera tracks the movements of the person and then changes the scenes accordingly on the screen through jitter.
Sources:pop up books, stage set design, emergence
Conclusions:it was challenging and fascinating to marry the content with technology.
