Description
This Thesis proposes a deep investigation into the use of digital technology from the perspective of an artist by utilizing them in the creation of artifacts as a means of creative expression. The goal of this investigation is to introduce a new methodology for aesthetic exploration and creative expression in the use of digital technology to establish new modes of creativity and new commentary on how contemporary artists should approach creating. The project will include the creation of physical artifacts as works of art that exist both physically and virtually on the digital network, a critical analysis of both the historical and contemporary modes of creating work with digital technologies, and an evaluation of the introduced techniques, methods, aesthetic qualities, and potential effects on the existing cultural structure sets of the art world.
