The documentary demonstrates the mythology
that has developed around the group's stories by juxtaposing similar
words and phrases collected from independent interviews with members
of the group. By pairing this edited collection of interviews with
both footage of the modern day locations in which the events took
place as well as vintage footage directly connected to the events
themselves, the project exposes the gap between the knowledge inherent
in having been a participant in the events discussed and the limited
access to in-group knowledge available to the outside observer.
