HabitatPerspectives

Habitat Perspectives is a multiuser gps enabled camera phone moblogging project from 2003.

The concept is that each person has a very different view of the same city, so graphically showing that might help people get new perspectives on their own city.

Users can map their habitat using pictures of the spots that they visit, and send those to the server. When the server gets them it drops them on an interactive map of Tokyo, which can be viewed on the web.
