1) Q: Why did you take this class? A: Because world domination is a bitch, and requires support by smart and capable people.
2) Q: What type of projects do you want to work on? A: I'm deeply into mobile devices and maintain that the primary barrier to widespread adoption is interface. Given that that issue is intractable, however, I'd like to exploit new implimentations and combinations of existing platforms and sources that empower *users* to craft new applications for mobile technologies.
3) Q: What skills do you have? A: Very little programming/scripting, a fair bit of front-end design on mobile interfaces, a widespread familiarity with the mobile technologies marketplace.
4) What type of phone/provider do you have? A: I have a 6620 from AT&T and have loaded it up with enough Java apps that the cruft left over when their crippleware licenses expire is causing me serious performance problems. I like having service from AT&T because I've been crushing their service agents like insects for screwing up their customer service for over 5 years, and want to continue to grow my journal of their screw ups.
5) Q: What is your favorite use of the mobile phone? A: checking to see who still has phones with outdated firmware for vulnerable Bluetooth stacks.
