Hi, I'm a first year and my educational background is Art Design + Computer Science.
I've been interested in making fun stuffs. Yeah it's games. I did some simple computer games in my college, with C++, to get a glimpse of game design/soft arch. I also wrote a software 3D engine just for fun( actually it's totally not). I was thinking about some MMO games, but I was totally freaked out by its complexity. After the mobile is ready for games, I was soon attracted, and began to play with Mophun( a programmming platform mostly for games on Sony Ericsson mobile phones ) and a little bit J2ME.
My goal for this class is to create something fun with Mobile technologies learned here,
but I don't mind to come up with some practical craps in the process( actually, I'm now writing an online calender with MySQL ).
My current phone is Sanyo SCP-200. it's kinda crappy( no camera, no java, even no games built in, crippled version?), but what's really interesting/wired points are, first, it has a setting about location stuff. I don't know how people gonna use it, GPS location? Second, There're words on the back of the phone saying QUALCOMM 3G CDMA. Oh, I'm using Sprint.
