What you need to prepare for your first trip to IAC.

This is the resolution I expect it to be, but is subject to change. I will know for sure by Monday, Sept 26. The examples referenced below will be in DropBox by Friday, Sep 23.
Place all of your files in your dropbox folder (Dropbox) before coming to IAC!
Images
- Resolution: 3480x1080
- Can now just be viewed in Preview!
Processing sketch
- Resolution: 3840x1080
- Present-mode will now work on the IAC machines
- Remember to include in your DropBox folder any extra libraries you are using

openFrameWorks Applications
- Resolution: 3840x1080
- set: ofSetFullscreen(true);
- I highly recommend pre-compile and zip up your OF application beforehand.
- Make sure it is compiled for snow leopard 10.6
QT Movie
- suggested compression: motion JPEG or photo JPEG
- try: 3840x1080 and 1920x540 -- Note that videos at the full resolution (3840x1080) will likely play back choppy so I recommend reducing resolution by half or 2/3rds. Quicktime player will scale it up for you when viewing fullscreen.
- keep your clips short so they aren't huge files
- You can simply play these movie files with Quicktime fullscreen
- However, if you want to start working with playing video in OF, check out: OfVideoPlayer (note you only need to worry about the "master" app right now)
