Big Games Pair Game PresentationsThe AssignmentFind a person to work with. Pick a game, preferably one that exhibits qualities like we're discussing in Big Games (i.e. loads of players, long-duration, location-based components). If it's not a big game, pick a game that has qualities you think the whole class can learn from. Play this game together. Then for the presentation I want you to very quickly present each of your experiences playing the game--what you enjoyed, what didn't, what worked for you and what didn't. Then, with an eye towards LeBlanc's MDA article, I want you to tell us about several specific game mechanics that had interesting effects on the game and were in your view were essential to the aesthetic of the game.
