Digitally Altered Pictures in the newspaper

Photographs that are digitally altered are so common now that it is easy not to notice them. I pulled these three pictures out of the New York Times today. The first two are about articles in the Business and Styles sections and the last is from a Circuit City ad that came with the paper. I like the Circuit City ad because it features one of the most common digitally altered pictures, that of a television with an image on it. The image has been added digitally after the photo of the TV was taken. Companies do this to make the piece of equipment look more enticing. Sometimes they even tell you that the picture on the screen is not accurate but I didn't see that disclaimer with this ad.
