One of the websites I like to look at is Gomma Magazine. I like checking it out to see what emerging photographers and designers are popping up internationally and what their work looks like. One of the most helpful sections is the collection of exhibition listings that highlights shows around, points to the gallery sites and sticks them on a google map for navigation. The site isn't terribly dynamic, but it's well edited and updated frequently.

Gomma lists the style of my brother's work as intimacy, and lists mine as portraiture & intimacy - both assessments I can pretty much get behind.
