not funny? Yeah, I didn't think so either.
Chicago - all windy and shit - right? Well...it certainly does have it's share of weather.
Graduated frat-boy haze and house-wiving rookies lead the baby parade down the stroller paths that are the streets of Wrigleyville.
It's not that I have a New York bias, it's just that the chach factor is heavily engorged, especially in Wrigley.
New York's chach-factor is padded with a certain gravitas. If you disagree with this, you must admit, that at least New York's reputation as a melding pot of culture, enhances the cultural experience of dealing with a douch-bag.
Witness fat-striped pink and green polos with a collar-popping wrist flick to off-set the beer-stained khaki cutoff's and Birkenstocks.
"Oh shit! That ws you who got hit by that car last night? Fuckin' sucks dude...some people are assholes. If you need an attourney...here's my card. You from Milwaukee?! We just got back from Milwaukee...that tall guy there - he own this place...yeah we tried driving his boat up there at like eleven last night. Fog. got totally schlitzed. Beached it. Luckily his old man is on the force...got off easy. Yeah...Milwaukee fest...that's where we were going...picking up chicks. 'Hey where do you ladies want to go? After party? My friend owns a bar. Let's head down to the boat...OKAY!' not a second thougt - you know - that's when it gets real easy. Yeah...sucks dude, you want a beer?"

Confessional
The ITP Spring Show 06 is long over and after a vicious but ultimately unsuccessful hunt for my digital camera I had all but given up hope for any sort of documentation on the 'Secrets' project since it was not featured in any other source. ITP itself comes through on this one, providing a complete and exhaustive archive of the streaming from day one and two of the spring show. The 'Secrets' explanation page can be viewed here. I'm working on getting an excerped video from the streaming server at itp. I don't even know if that is possible.
