Lately, I've been doing quite a lot of research into cell-phones. This is because I'm working with a group to develop a more effective interface for - you guessed it - cellphones. Its funny how peoples ideas differ in terms of valid/substantial/realistic directions in design. I say the sky's the limit. Shoot for the stars and all that. Budy of mine wants a cell-phone he can put in his back pocket that will mold to the shape of his butt. Why not?
There are lots of interesting things out that could and probably should be used in mobile technology. Bone induction transducers, organic LEDs, FSRs, motion tracking... All controlled by intelligent organic algorithms and so on and so forth (yes yes). I'm not going to populate this entry with any links, because im selfish. But I will post more advanced thoughts and eye-candy later in the week.
