this is my week one assignment for wearable tech, we have to make something that symbolizes me (think venus figure from austria) with the idea if it was found in 200 years it would suggest things about us..
So I made a birds nest, its pink (fav color) sadly the light I shot this in was really yellow so its off a bit, I wove into the nest yarn i spun, thread from my first knit project, some small buds from a tree outside and then inside of it I put some of my birds feathers, they're molting! I figure a bird nest sympolizes something fragile and delicate, both which I have been feeling the last year.
Im really nervous to present because it took me way to long to make I never knew how making a fake birdnest could be so hard. I know anything 2d is not my strong point which is why I am taking this class, but the truth is doing whats not easy is well.. not easy.
