WHERE WE ARE NOW
First we worked on making a model out of mdf. Thanks to Chiara, Rob, my brother Paolo and my friend Matteo, we were able to have precise measurements of the original Roman grate.
Then we made a rubber mold and a silicon replica with iron and nickel silver to give it color without taking away its transparency. It will glow.
Next steps:
- electronics circuit. Lamps, Arduino, IR sensors ordered.
- make and print image.
- buy and mount plexi.
- buy and test lamps at 220V.
- make the box for the object.
- Prepare cell phone voicemail.
- Assemble and ship.
