This beta site is a mishmash of comments, video, gifs, database and google hangout. Excuse my website’s appearance, it certainly didn’t mean to look this way. In case you can’t find them, commenting box is on the top, and embedded video is on the bottom right. I am using Disqus for commenting and Popcorn.js for embedded Vimeo video. They are both well documented and easy to use
All these tools are all in the beginning phase, and I need to figure out the best way to organize them. So my question is, where should a conversation start?
The entry point of this website might start from two different ways.
One way would be a student requesting a real-time on-line private tutoring session. This case, he/she would start with filling up a request form which will lead him/her to a google hangout along with other useful tools.
Second would be browsing through past lectures or recorded sessions for students to review and self-study. Then a student will need a video screen along with chat screen to ask questions to teachers.
Hopefully by next week I would have my wireframes sketched out so I can present a well thought out website!
