Key Log Cal

Here’s my second visualization attempt using Keystroke Logging.
Below is my logFile on Oct 18.

The reason is that Keystroke Logging transfer my Korean input to English input.
It coded my key logging history again.

Stop Typing!

I hacked my computer using Keystroke Logging. Data itself was interesting enough for me, but I don’t want to show details to public. One obvious thing was that I keep typing and cannot stop for a minute! See how crazy my words drawing on . . . → Read More: Stop Typing!

about MEMES

I was really surprised to find out about meme theory. I have heard the word before but never really knew what it meant.

It was surprising to find out that it is a name for a whole theory, a theory about ideas, ideas that replicate, which to me was understood from a long time ago, ideas are . . . → Read More: about MEMES

My mental diet

When my kid was 3 years old she was obsessed with TV shows of all kinds. I let her consume this junk because I rationalized it by being a working college mom. Then once day it hit me. I didn’t have/make the time to read to her. If I didn’t soon, she wouldn’t have any interest. . . . → Read More: My mental diet

After trying some of the common words codes, I decided to try to focus on the meanings of word combinations, by rewriting the N-Gram text generator I was working with last semester in bit by bit in processing, which was based . . . → Read More: Logging my words . . . and such as.

Key Logging

I’ve been collecting my strokes on my laptop for roughly one week. I’m still working on the code, but my idea is to see how often I use words that refer to myself (I, me, my) versus words that refer to other people (you, they, them). Below is a preliminary histogram of the words I typed . . . → Read More: Key Logging

Media Mental Diet

Before setting up the keystroke logger I had to make a very conscious decision… I either filter/mediate what I search or type or I don’t give a fly about what someone out there might be collecting from me.
