Rushing through life

One of the things that I wanted to explore is if the pace in which you go through life reflects how happy you are at the moment.  Last year, I worked on a project called iStride that worked essentially as a pedometer, calculating your cadence and alerting you to when you were over striding during runs. I rebuilt the device and set a timer to go off every hour. At every hour, I noted what I was doing and what my emotions were.

I’ve only worn it for a day and a half, but it definitely seems like the faster I’m walking, the more stressed that I am.  I will continue this project to try and get more substantial results.
