My midterm goal was to make my harness wireless and sturdier than the first prototype. I was able to upload my sketch to the Arduino Pro Mini. I was also able to read in from Bluetooth. Sadly, I wasn’t able to figure out how to build the circuit with the flex sensors. I had the Arduino send “hello” if it wasn’t receiving any data. I have tried a number of different circuit configurations with a flex sensor, but all that comes over from Bluetooth is “hello.” I may be able to meet with a resident tomorrow morning for help. I think I need to split my power source? Needless to say, I wasn’t able to rebuild the harness with sturdier material and fasteners without figuring out the circuit, and especially because I have to plan for conductive thread.
