It's amazing how a little white balance can make a huge difference.

Before heading out to shoot, I created a white balance preset, which came in quite handy with this shot.

At 49th and Broadway, at the N/R/W subway station, there's a kiosk with vibrant colors — and not so vibrant workers. That said, they were willing to let me shoot for a bit. With my white balance set, I focused on the man in the background, and shot at 1/60 sec @ 2.8. Since I was shooting without a flash, and at such a slow shutter speed, I held the camera tight to my chest.
