Teddy Geiger

So okay...everyone who knows me...knows I'm a HUGE HUGE HUGE John Mayer fan. I love his music, his style, everything about him hahaha.
Anyways there's this new guy who's hit the music scene, whom I feel sort of reminds me of John. His name is Teddy Geiger. I will not say I am a Tedhead (that is what his fans seem to call themselves), but yes I do like his songs. He has that really nice raspy sort of singing voice which actually goes really well with the songs he's written.
What's so remarkable is that...he's just a kid!!! At just 17 years old, it's safe to say he's a rising young star. He first hit the scene as a finalist on VH-1's "In Search Of the New Partridge Family," and followed that up with a regular role on the short-lived CBS series, "Love Monkey."
His debut album, "Underage Thinking," has just arrived in stores. Geiger wrote or co-wrote 11 of the 12 songs, and with his heartthrob looks, (blue eyes and shaggy black hair) and intimate lyrics, this teenage sensation's fan base is expanding rapidly outside of his native Rochester, N.Y. Before hitting it big, Geiger was just one of the guys at an all-boys Jesuit school.
Teddy, a songwriting prodigy, is a self-taught musician who wrote and arranged complete compositions on guitar and piano by age eight Songs seem to pour from his head as instinctively as his grassroots fans pour into local venues to watch him perform. Using his music as his only marketing tool, Teddy has managed to generate a self-made fan base that attracts both weak-kneed teenage girls and rabid music fans hungry for meaningful rock and roll.
It's Teddy Geiger's undeniable talent, coupled with a lovable charisma, that's propelling him to the forefront of today's musical scene as a highly-anticipated breakthrough career artists. Keep your ears and eyes open for Teddy Geiger.

Methods of Motion : Final Project Animation
Story of a Ladybug who isn't satisfied with her surroundings so goes in search of a better place to live. She goes to many places. The first place she finds is a lilypad, but is scared away by a frog. She then flies off and lands on a beehive. Everything seems fine and she falls asleep, but then is awaken to find bees buzzing around ready to attack. She flies off again to find a rose garden. She thinks all is good and is happy to be in the beautiful rose garden, but is suddenly surprised by a big black spider that is trying to eat her. She flies off again and decides that maybe her old milkweed is the best place to be, but still tries to look at a few more places. She spots a poppie garden, but sees that it inhabited by bees and buterflies. She flies a little bit more and finds a sunflower garden and is about to land there...but stops when she sees that there is a snake living in the sunflower garden. She sees a cherry tree up ahead. She looked all around it. There were no bees, no butterflies, no frogs, no spiders, and no snakes. So she glides down and lands on a juicy ripe cherry. The cherry seemed perfect and she thinks she has finally found the best place. But no sooner had she thought this, she sees a big bluebird hovering above her. It came closer and began to peck at the cherry she was standing on. She realized that the bird hadn’t even seen her because she was so small, and so red, just like the cherry. She jumps off the cherry and flies away. The lady bug finally flies back to her milkweed leaf. Even it if isn't the best place, at least she knew she is safe there.

Platform game
Platform game, or platformer, is a video game genre characterized by the character having to climb up and down, or jump from and to, platforms and ledges, while fighting enemies and collecting objects required to fully complete the game. Often, the player has the ability to gain powers or weapons, called power-ups. Generally, platform games, due to their unrealistic nature, have cartoon-like graphics, and may appear to be hand-drawn. In addition, platformers' character and adversaries are usually legendary creatures (e.g. dragons and goblins) or anthropomorphic animals (e.g. a gorilla who rolls barrels).
Platform games originated in the early 1980s and made the transition to 3D in the mid-1990s. Sometime after the genre's inception, the term came to describe games where jumping on platforms, as opposed to shooting, was the main gameplay focus. However, many platform games feature projectile weapons, including the Mario and Castlevania franchises.

Tetris
Tetris is a puzzle game invented by Alexey Pazhitnov (last name sometimes transliterated Pajitnov) in 1985, while he was working for the Academy of Sciences in Moscow, Russia during the days of the Soviet Union. Pajitnov has cited pentominoes as a source of inspiration for the game. Its name is derived from the Russain word "tetra" meaning four, as all of the blocks are made up of four segments. In an interview with G4 on the subject of tetris' creation, Pajitnov has also stated that the only other game he really liked at the time was tennis. And thus, by combining "tetra" and "tennis", he created the word "tetris".
The game (or one of its many variants) is available for nearly every video game console and computer operating system, as well as on devices such as graphing calculators, mobile phones, and PDAs. Tetris has even appeared as part of an art exhibition on the side of Brown University's 14-story Sciences Library [1]. The game first gained mainstream exposure and popularity beginning in 1989 when Nintendo released it for Game Boy. Tetris consistently appears on lists of the greatest video games of all time; it is believed to be the best selling game ever, due to its wide availability on almost every modern computer and game system made.

Project Proposal for Tetris
1. Environment where the game will be played, which is usually a rectangular space.
2. The square/tiles needed to play the game.
3. Arrays to hold the squares/tiles (to create the patterns), 2 dimensional arrays that hold one's and zero's
4. Variables, width, height, state of the game, bricks, hit, score, level, etc
5. Functions to start game
