Methods of Motion : Final Project Animation
Story of a Ladybug who isn't satisfied with her surroundings so goes in search of a better place to live. She goes to many places. The first place she finds is a lilypad, but is scared away by a frog. She then flies off and lands on a beehive. Everything seems fine and she falls asleep, but then is awaken to find bees buzzing around ready to attack. She flies off again to find a rose garden. She thinks all is good and is happy to be in the beautiful rose garden, but is suddenly surprised by a big black spider that is trying to eat her. She flies off again and decides that maybe her old milkweed is the best place to be, but still tries to look at a few more places. She spots a poppie garden, but sees that it inhabited by bees and buterflies. She flies a little bit more and finds a sunflower garden and is about to land there...but stops when she sees that there is a snake living in the sunflower garden. She sees a cherry tree up ahead. She looked all around it. There were no bees, no butterflies, no frogs, no spiders, and no snakes. So she glides down and lands on a juicy ripe cherry. The cherry seemed perfect and she thinks she has finally found the best place. But no sooner had she thought this, she sees a big bluebird hovering above her. It came closer and began to peck at the cherry she was standing on. She realized that the bird hadn’t even seen her because she was so small, and so red, just like the cherry. She jumps off the cherry and flies away. The lady bug finally flies back to her milkweed leaf. Even it if isn't the best place, at least she knew she is safe there.

1. Establishing shot of the environment
2. Zoom on the ladybug and shows how the leaves of the milkweed is prickly
3. Zoom to ladybug, with feet covered in sticky sap
4. Shot of ladybuy leaving her milkweed home
5. Lady bug flying trying to find a new home
6. Overhead shot of lilipad
7. Scene of ladybug trying to make herself at home on the lilipad
8. Scene of a frog hiding behind lilipad
9. Shot of ladybug being surprsed of the frog and tries to fly away and escape
10. Point of view shot of frog on lilipad with it's tongue out trying to catch the ladybug, but misses
11. Ladybug lands on beehive
12. Scene of bees buzzing around the beehive where the ladybug is sleeping
13. Bees aren't happy and is ready to attack the ladybug, so the ladybug flies off again
14. Scene of ladybug flying and spots rose garden
15. Zoom to ladybug in the beautiful rose garden
16. Shot of spider climbing up the rose garden ready to pounce on the ladybug.
17. Ladybug once again flies away in search of a better place
18. Shot of poppy garden and sunflower garden
19. Scene of ladybug finding the cherry tree
20. Ladybug is so happy to be in the cherry tree with the abundance of leaves and is feeling almost at home
21. Scene of bluebird coming towards the cherry tree and pecking at the cherry.
22. Ladybug realizes it is dangerous to live in cherry tree and flies away for the last time
23. Scene of ladybug back at her milkweed home, where she is most comfortable.
