Working with the lights that are already in the hallway, we decided to place them in between the existing light fixtures. We need to build 12 of these domes.
The project description has to be submitted by the 28th, Monday. I've asked Thomas to do this. I will have a mockup 3d model of this ready. Have one model made and working by the 30th, Wednesday. Reminder : we have a presentation to prepare for the 2nd of Dec for the guest crit.

Our initial ideas

Brainstorming

Creating a sound "pathway" throughout ITP floor.
Making people move through space, using sound.
Creating a sound landscape on ITP; an immersive environment.
Eddy's idea in a very social environment. ITP will be very hectic, with many people, talking, browsing through projects etc.
These domes could act as a "get-away" from this setting. Noise - cancellation system at the show. Zen-like effect, where people could get away from all the noise around them.
Directional sound. Ex) Sounds of race cars that would lead people to move in a certain way.
A wave of sound that is triggered at the entrance of the floor.
Automated sound loop as a progression. People will follow it once they realize this effect.
Near closing hours, reverse the process and direct people out of ITP.
Chunks of sound as they move down the path.
