   Reverse T-Shirt

The relationship between man and objects.

I'm interested in people's behaviors, because they are the most predictable and unpredictable things. I thought about the issue of "trust". How we use the daily objects in our daily life. How we trust the ways to use them. For example, why do we believe when we through a ball to the wall, it will bounce back? When I was in Germany this summer, I realized the flush things of their toilets were on the top wall of the toilet instead of "attach" with the toilet. But every time I want to flush the toilet, I will just push the big button on the wall without hesitating. But what if it is a button for the shower? We can't blame to anyone but ourself then, because no one tells us it is a button of flushing toilet, it is us who ASSUMED it is a button of flushing toilet. There are many things like in our life, we put our actions without realizing or thinking. We just simply trust the experience we have.

To play with this concept, I got the idea to make a reverse t-shirt. Like the toilet example, I realized when I put a t-shirt on me, I'll just check where the label is very quickly, and where the pattern is (if there's one), so I know which side is front side, which side is outside. But what if the label is in the outside and the pattern is in the inside, does that change the way I wear it? Or I won't even notice because I "trust" it?
