Mission: Review the website Great Buildings Collection. Great Buildings Collection is an existing site that misses the mark in terms of user experience. Please develop a wire frame  schematic or flow diagram of  a revised site architecture. Your work should demonstrate an understanding of the client’s needs and the user’s expectations. The flow diagram should show the key content areas and their relative relationship and hierarchy as well as the user flow through the site. The wire frame and  schematics should be in block diagram form.

Mission: an idea for a new product based on a rethinking of a user experience we take for granted.

Nearly every home has a refrigerator. In general, we know that a refrigerator is the most common food storage. The wikipedia defines a refrigerator as below.

A refrigerator (colloquially fridge) is a common household appliance that consists of a thermally insulated compartment and a heat pump (mechanical, electronic, or chemical) that transfers heat from the inside of the fridge to its external environment so that the inside of the fridge is cooled to a temperature below the ambient temperature of the room. The device is thus used to reduce the rate of spoilage of foodstuffs.

Most people shop as many groceries as possible at one time because they are busy. We sometimes realize that we have another one which still has a lot while putting foods in the refrigerator. It is very usual we forget about what there are in the refrigerator. In this sense, the refrigerator is a passive appliance which just stores foods as users put in.

But I would like to rethink about a refrigerator in an interactive way. They will be able to know what they have and give information back to their users their foods if we apply some technology to them. For example, a refrigerator has a label scanner which examines food labels containing date information such as an expiration date and nutrition on foods and the scanner saves the information to the database. An monitor on the refrigerator door displays what items it has sorted by expiration dates or types when a user touch the screen. It is alarming which items are going to be expired soon so that it avoids from throwing them away or warning users something is already expired to keep the fridge clean. Furthermore, it recommends diverse recipes that users can cook with the foods.
