URBANTAPESTRIES
site.
The idea here seems to be suplimenting physical spaces with digital information, specifically information that anyone can create, of a social and cultural sort.
animations
The Animations are particularly interesting, because they show how the system could make people explore their surroundings more by bringing out hidden things such as history, what other people did, and let them connect to people not via email but via place (e.g. that guy you only see at the coffee shop if you do that kind of thing).
ACTIVE CAMPUS
site
Point that people are increasingly nomadic
One point here is strong imbue the digital with the physical. Somehow the excitement always seems to be about the other way around. But the digital world is so barren (my opinion) that forcing in location is good.
this slideshow is good:

The idea about silent conversation in a classroom is interesting. I know people did it in Red's class.
distance figuring, and seeing where people are. Oh boy the privacy issues!
SONIC CITY
site
Essentially the soundtrack interacts with the physical space around you and your physiological response to it.
I like that the system was totally wearable and didn't rely on an external network
The music seemed to be entirely of the "algorithmic type"
Most interesting point was that this system made people alter their normal routines to explore how the system interacted with their enviornment
FLIRT
site
That made no sense.
