1_concept

We wanted to experiment with capturing only one small slit of the camera's image and adding it to the end of an image compiled in real-time using Processing. This allowed us to create extremely long panoramic images composed of thousands of small “slits” of time.

2_goals

  • To create a large image out of very small slices of video captured at different points in time.
  • To deform space, time, and moving objects by controlling the camera’s movement and capturing duration.
  • Better understand how objects exist in space over time

3_challenge

To create a computer controlled system that will allow us to accurately scan the landscape over extended periods of time.
