For my ICM Finals, I want to continue to work on the landscape collage idea.

1)     Concept: Interactive audio visual collage. The images change as you click / touch them and each image plays a different loop in a musical composition. I still didn’t decide what the content is going to be, but one idea I have is to make the collage a portrait of Greenpoint – the neighborhood I live in.

2)    Interaction: People change the image / sound loop in the collage by clicking or touching on different parts of the screen / projection. I want to give  people the experience of affecting a composition.

3)    Technical part. The sketch is going to be made in Processing, and the sound will be integrated with the Minim library. I Still don’t know how I want to present it – if it’s going to be on a screen with mouse interaction, or on a projection with a camera, to make the projection touch -sensitive. This all depends on the content of the collage and my time.
