Synopsis: A large crowd gathers in a park, awaiting the mayor’s press conference.  The mayor walks to the podium.  The crowd cheers, and cameramen begin to record the event.  Midway through the mayor’s speech, a wily bird flies across the stage and grabs the mayor’s toupee off his head.  The mayor is aghast, but the damage is done.  We zoom out from an ECU of the mayor’s face and realize that we’re now watching a YouTube style video of the incident, already with millions of hits.

I chose a retro cartoon style for the animation.  I like the idea of juxtaposing a story about the perils of modern technology with a nostalgic, old-fashioned style of illustration.  I also need to accommodate my drawing limitations!  Here are two style frames:
