counting you-know-who


For our text visualization assignment I charted the occurrences in all 7 of the Harry Potter books of the three phrases, “you-know-who”, “he-who-must-not-be-named”, and “voldemort”, graphing them as lines signifying their relative position in the book. The three colors represent the three phrases, and the search was case-insensitive. Click the image above to see the high-resolution image, or see the python source code that generated it here.
