Sosolimited is an audiovisual collective. With an emphasis on live performance, they write custom software to manipulate the NTSC signal in real time. For the 2004 presidential debates, They presented an analytical remix in three dimensions to live audiences at the Art Interactive and MIT Media Lab. They used the information contained in the video signal and closed captions as the foundation for a number of aesthetic and informational modes, each focusing on a different aspect of the debate.

Interpretation of a political event.
There were rules applied evenly.
New audience for the debate
Changes the norms of political press coverage.
Is successful because is focus on the content, and identify patterns.

They continue developing the software and researching about sintax analysis in real time video.


Sosolimited is preparing for a three city tour for reconstitution 2008
