Bite Me, I'm Fresh!

collaborated with Suning Chen.

"Can you see how fresh I am when you grasp me in Wal-mart or rescue me out of your refrigerator? Sometimes, I pretend to be 'fresh' although I have lost a lot of nutrition and been oxygenated or polluted due to the long time or bad store environment..."

Fresh ID indicates how fresh the food is by its color changing which results from the signal fusion: the chemical reaction with the oxygen and the humidity, temperature of the environment. The reaction with the environment can indicate how fresh the food is indirectly.

We can use it on an apple, fish, meat, or even flowers. Here is the fun: It can also be used to test the humidity of our skin :). Just tag it to the surface of an object, and then it will tell you how fresh it is.
