"Wear your heart on your sleeve." This project explores how communication is impacted when contextual physiological emotions are available for everyone to see. A network of sensors, mobile phones and social networks are used to collect, share and broadcast emotions. The system implicitly calculates one of the eight primary emotions, as defined by the theories of Robert Plutchik. Through a wearable device capturing heart rate, temperature, and galvanic skin response, data is collected, calibrated, and matched with a facial expression, which is then published to communities through mobile devices and social networks.
