It features folding legs for a flatter profile when not in use. Additionally, a veneer inlay of Stanley Donwood’s Minotaur has been added to the center. The stand holds the laptop at a 20 degree angle to the table surface and allows airflow beneath the computer.

The best food truck I’ve ever had was from a cart not a truck.


Thiru Kumar’s food cart kranks out South Indian dosas daily. His memorable food is aaaamaaazing. The grinning, thickly mustached Kumar works his small grill to the max, pouring batter, spreading on curried potatoes, and sprinkling a crunchy dice of carrots and peppers (the Pondicherry masala dosa). When the batter is cooked through, Kumar artistically folds the thin lentil-and-rice-flour wrapper from the grill, then chops it into sections and serves it with a gingery coconut chutney and a small tub of spicy lentil soup. The result: A delicious, mouthwatering, $7, ultrahealthy meal-on-the-street.

If you like Thiru Kumar, then try Dosa man at south of Washington Square Park.$8 for a tasty masala dosa and two samosas.  The masala dosa comes
with two different sauces (underneath the dosa – you have to look for
them) and some excellent lentil soup.

The best food truck I’ve ever had is Chinese Mirch.

This is a pretty new truck, less than 6 months on the streets…I found them near the Dumbo Arts Festival (and they were better than any of the exhibits I saw! shhhh) Their dumplings are packed full of goodness unlike some other truck’s puny ones. The key however is the blend of Chinese and Indian spices and techniques. The food is very spicy which I love and can rarely say about other places. The high spice is met with a huge combination of herbs ( tastes like about 50! ) that make you forget your burning mouth and think about your elated taste buds and happy belly instead. Getting the dumplings ( i suggest spinach and cheese) in one of the soups is essential as the broth is its own masterpiece as well, not just an afterthought.

The best food truck I’ve ever had is The Waffle Truck.
It’s not even because of the waffles. While very delicious, their waffles are just a host for the incredible spekuloos spread, which tastes like a buttery cinnamon sugar cookie. If you’ve ever had Biscoff, it tastes just like that. But as a spread it’s about 35 times more delicious. Add whipped cream on top of a waffle with spekuloos and you get the “Throwdown Waffle,” featured on Bobby Flay’s Throwdown. It’s a bit difficult to eat on the street, so grab a fork (and a handful of napkins) and enjoy it on a nearby park bench.

 

The best food truck I’ve ever had is The Cinnamon Snail  (they have different places depending on their weekly schedule)

I am not a vegan – not even vegetarian – but find very great vegetarian/vegan food here. This truck lives up to the hype by bringing garden fresh ingredients, innovative flavor profiles, and dishes that pack a punch with home made kimchi. I personally love their marinated kale salad, which features the kimchi, spiced nuts, fresh tomatos, and a variety of herbs/greens.

They also has a Maker’s Mark bourbon vanilla donut which has won awards.  It is so tender.
