suing fans doesn't pay artists nor buying cd's

ok! it seems I'm being monitorized.. did I download anything yet? wasn´t even possible to download the application! Does this means my choices as a user are Hollywood movies or EMI records?! What if i wanted to download music or movies from my friends (meaning: "not copyrighted")?
either way i'm now being monitorized.. wasn´t I being monitorized before? who knows... well someone knows, and that someone is the entertainment industry and their infinite thirst for money and freedom of choice control!
now wait.. may be now i'm stressing a bit! well, you know, they have to protect their artists and their business, right? after all the money they get from their sales goes to them. that's where something starts itching again.. them? who's them? the artists, the creators of the original work that creates profit to the industry.. nope not the artists, these ones only get an infimate percentage of the price you pay.. so, who really is them? the industry machine, the profit!
with the advent of the internet the industry started to get some concerns, people (buyers!) had the ability of downloading content for free, and they weren´t concerned with the rights of the actual creators of those contents.. but another reason is also concerning the industry: these creators now have the chance of using the internet as their publisher and distributor, escaping the industry's claws. They (the creators/artists) can be their own copyright managers licensing their works for distribution or even for sampling and alteration and use by others, on the other hand they can recive payments directly (or almost) from the buyer, their fans, then establishing a more direct relation to the people who admires their work.
So, who is really worried about "piracy"? do the artist need to be worried about it? if they only get a small amount of the whole price of their product, won´t they benefict more if more people listen to their musics (legally or not)? here's a quick and simplistic formula: more listeners = more fans = more tickets sold.
what about the industry?well, it's trying to control all of us of consume their media, logging us into their spy systems and controlling the hardware we use, making us spent more money and having less; mapping our actions for marketing and sales promotions, building charts of our preferences and tastes...

may be all this seems a bit over simplified and bitter too but this is a very personal view of a young man who may be is just to tired of industry standardization and got really mad with a "control" message on his personal computer screen...
