SCAFFOLDS
OBJECTIVE
“Scaffolds” is a card game played by 4 players using two decks of cards. 10 cards are distributed to each player to build 3 columns – the middle column (spire) is 4 cards high and the surrounding columns are 3 cards high. 3 cards are distributed to each player in order to start the game. The general goal is for a Player to destroy their own scaffolds by laying down 3 cards of the same suit on top of 3 cards of any other matching suit. For example, a player may destroy her own scaffolding by laying down 3 Hearts on top of 3 Clubs and placing those cards in a discard pile. In order to gain a strategic advantage, players can add to their opponents scaffolds by depositing three cards of the same suit (ie. three hearts). Players may swap the cards they have in their hand or in their scaffolding with cards from the other player's scaffolding but players may not swap with their own scaffolding. The first player to remove all of their scaffolding wins.
