A Super Cat

Hi everyone,
Kate came up with this very funny story and here is our link to the site and below is some detail information about the process

Using Photoshop

After coming up a story and finding the proper images we started editing. As you all know Photoshop is a great application to edit pictures and have cool effects. Basically we created layers for different objects that we wanted to add to our pictures. We used stamp tool often to have smooth effect on transitions from one pic to another to have a realistic outcome. Hope we are successfull. Let us know...

We used lasso selection tool to have precise selections and direct selection tool to select geometrical shapes. Color pick tool is very helpfull to sample a color and apply it on to the area where you want to have the same color scheme. We used that a lot as well especially on the pic where woman is standing on a chair and calling for help.

Blurr option is also a very helpfull effect to smooth the sharp edges and apply shadow effects as we used on most of our pics. ( Mice with shadows )

Our dog and cat detectives are done using the stamp tool as well. Unfortunatelly our images are in low resolution so you won't be able to see them in large scale. As a lesson we learned from this exercise - always start with high resolution images then you can resize them if you want and still have a high quality picture. We can go over the detals in class about how to use the stamp, lasso selection, color sampling, creating layers etc.
