For my thesis I will explore how digital communication has become universal. New technology has come to effect all ages, genders, and people in urban as well as rural areas. In fact, I will argue that new technology is becoming somewhat of its own folk art. For my thesis project I hope to show an example of this with a rocking chair interface that is reflective of its cultural relevance through media which it interfaces.
