Assignment: write a six word story.

I have mixed thoughts about these. How is it different from twitter? Is it different from poetry forms? Giving attention to form is poetry. Using six words makes form central. Why is it not called poetry? Or maybe it is called that?

I felt weird writing my own. I chose these from a book. The book is by Ben Lerner. He’d think this was stupid probably. Sentences of six words sound particular. He doesn’t use many of them.

‘Your Spanish is good,’ she said.
He would take my siesta then.
We found a place to swim.
I open the Loca at random.
‘Are you furious?’ I asked.

Actually, could be a good project.
