THE LEGENDARY ADDICTION Levi’s Jeans is a kind of legend of jean history, and I’d like to make some kind of advertising commercial with very fascinated character of the jean and the enthusiasm of people who are always crazy about the jeans. I’m also one of them since I’ve started to wear the jeans. It’s not just any kind of jeans. It’s already something like a big culture code. So I made this catchphrase for this animation commercial as a head copy. “The Legendary Addiction. True Blue. It’s Levi’s.” Some funny characters, various genre of comic style and color mood, and unusual pattern, I needed something like these things to tell the story of Levi’s style, and very strong and dangerous but fascinated story too. Conceptual color is going to be red and navy. David statue that wears the legend, and people who are going wild with enthusiasm for him and his jeans, and one rubber who will steal the jean, and his girl friend who will try to kill him, the rubber, to get the legend, and finally the silent Levi’s red logo-symbol…. All of these things are going to be mixed to make one true color of jeans, Levi’s.
